Cobalt Forest

So today I was particularly inspired by Rafi and Klee as I was watching an older video and continued the inspiration just listening to their podcast as I painted. In particular I’ve been struggling to expand my voice and better express myself in different painting styles as I’ve kind of gotten into a bit of a challenge coming up with something new to paint.

So this is my first real attempt at branching out beyond what I’ve been doing and I plan on making it a series. The current thought is to create three paintings in blue, three in red, and three in yellow. No other thought behind it except to try something different with each painting. My only limit is to start with a background of those colors.
